Genre:-
After a few ideas and throughout the process of our opening scene we released the opening scene we were making wasn't completely comedy and thriller. We had focused so much on getting the thriller right we hadn't thought out how to make it fit into two genres instead of one. As we have watched a variety of films from a variety of genres we have a rough idea of what our opening scene might turn out like. The example of the films 'Scary Movie' are films that have many anti climax's. They are all thriller/comedy so we can take ideas from these movies and use it to help our opening scene improve. Until we find how to make our opening scene comical we will keep improving and adjusting it to slowly achieve what we are working towards which is an anti climax from an innocent game of hide and seek.
These two films both have anti-climaxsections and endings. We are focused more on 'Hot Fuzz' then 'Scary movie' yet we are willing to look at both and use ideas from both productions.
To conclude, throughout deep thinking about our opening scene we have changed and adjusted some ideas some due to what we have or due to what we are thinking, but we haven't changed anything dramastically as we know we have a time limit and the ideas we have now are brilliant we just need to make sure we stick to what we are aiming for so we reach our target and finish it on time.
