Casting Shots

We have selected the cast members for our production and here are their casting shots, information about them and a description of why we selected them.

Jessie

As she is Frances's younger sister we had easy access to use her as a actress in our opening scene, she will play one of the the young girls.

Kit

Age:12

Gender: Male

Height: 4ft 

Eye colour: Green

Hair colour: Dark Blonde

Tom

Age: 13
Gender: Male

Hair colour: Dark Blonde

As Kit and Tom are related to our group members Bella and Florence we had easy access to these actors for our opening sequence, either one of them will play the older boy. Even though they are much older than what we wanted the children to be, we will dress them up to look younger because we wanted the children to seem young and vulnerable.

Sienna

Age: 5

Gender: Female

Height: 3ft 2

Eye colour: Brown

Hair Colour: Blonde

Sienna is a friend of our group member James, which also allows us to have easy access to her as the youngest girl for our opening scene.

Mark

Age: 48

Gender: Male

Height: 5ft 10

Eye colour: Brown

Hair colour: Dark Brown

This is the father who will be looking for the children and he is related to Florence which will also help us to film it quickly and easily without waiting for someone to turn up.

By casting people we know we have full trust in them for being on time to film, also, they feel comfortable working with a group of people they know well. This should mean that it should be very believable to the viewer that the three children and the man are all apart of the same family. Also, having a backup in Kit, if one of the children are not available for filming for any reason we will still be able to film our opening sequence.
